Giving Tuesday: Aging Matters Meals on Wheels

At The Pig & Whistle, we believe in more than serving up great food, pints, and good times — we believe in giving back to the community that supports us. That’s why on the first Tuesday of every month, we dedicate our Giving Tuesday to a local nonprofit or community organization in need. On these special days from open to close, 100% of food and beverage sales go directly to making a difference right here in Cocoa Beach and Brevard County.

For September 2025, we were proud to partner with Aging Matters in Brevard, a nonprofit that provides essential services to our local seniors. The funds raised are being used to support their brand-new Adopt a Senior program, as well as their initiative to reduce the waitlist for Meals on Wheels, a lifeline for so many older adults in our community.

Special thanks to Ken Parks and Tom Kammerdener of Aging Matters in Brevard, for facilitating our support of their organization. Their dedication and leadership inspire us, and we look forward to continuing this partnership in the future to ensure that no senior in our community goes without the care, meals, and connection they deserve.

To everyone who dined, donated, or spread the word — thank you. Your support made this Giving Tuesday another meaningful success, and together, we’re proving that a small pub with a big heart can make a real difference.
