Giving Tuesday - Old Red Eye Rugby

Tacos, Tequila & Tackles
At the Pig & Whistle, we’ve always believed we should be more than just a place to grab a pint — it should be a place where community comes together.
Because of the incredible support from our customers, we were able to raise $3,500 for this local rugby club — and honestly, we couldn’t be prouder.
Now… was it technically Giving Tuesday and Cinco de Mayo? Absolutely.
Did charitable donations possibly increase after a few tequila shots? We’re not asking questions.
Between tacos, tequila, and Guinness, the pub was packed with exactly the kind of energy we love most — friends coming together to support something bigger than themselves.
For many people around Brevard County, the Old Red Eyes are more than just a rugby club. They’re a family.
That spirit is exactly why supporting them felt so important to us.
Seeing the pub full of laughter, cheers, and people rallying behind a local organization reminded us why we love being part of this community.
To everyone who came out and supported the event: thank you. You helped support a club that has spent decades supporting others.
We’re grateful to stand beside organizations like the Old Red Eyes that help make Cocoa Beach and Brevard County feel like home.
And to whoever convinced the rugby guys tequila shots were a “team-building exercise” — we hope you’re recovering well.
Cheers to community, local traditions, and many more Giving Tuesdays ahead.
