Giving Tuesday Raises $2,256.94 for Amputee Blade Runners, Surpassing $100,000 in Community Giving Since 2023.

On June 2, the Pig & Whistle family came together for another successful Giving Tuesday, this time in support of Amputee Blade Runners.

Thanks to the incredible generosity of our guests, we are proud to announce that $2,256.94 will be donated to Amputee Blade Runners. These funds will help ABR continue its mission of providing running and recreational prosthetic limbs to amputees who want to stay active, pursue athletic goals, and enjoy a higher quality of life.

This Giving Tuesday was especially meaningful because it helped us reach a major milestone. Since launching our Giving Tuesday program in 2023, the Pig & Whistle community has now donated more than $100,000 to local charities and nonprofit organizations. What started as a simple idea to give back to the community has grown into something truly remarkable, thanks to the continued support of our guests and the local community.

Together, we have proven that small acts of generosity can create a lasting impact. As we celebrate this milestone, we remain committed to supporting worthy causes and making a difference through Giving Tuesday for years to come.

Thank you for helping us surpass $100,000 in charitable donations and for making June's Giving Tuesday a tremendous success.

Next Month's Giving Tuesday: The Future Starts Together

On July 7, we will focus on helping local students start the school year prepared and confident. Funds raised throughout the day will help purchase school uniforms for students at Emma Jewel Charter Academy, a Title I school in Cocoa. Title I schools receive federal assistance because they serve a higher percentage of students from low-income families, helping ensure every child has access to the resources needed to succeed.

We also selected Roosevelt Elementary School for our school supply drive because of the upcoming closure of Cape View Elementary School, which will result in Roosevelt welcoming many new students this school year. By donating school supplies or dining with us on July 7, you'll help local children begin the school year with the tools and support they need to thrive.

If you'd like to contribute but can't make it to the restaurant, you can purchase needed school supplies directly from our Amazon Wish List:
